A Little More About Me
My journey into complimentary therapies started with a keen interest in plants and a fascination for their medicinal properties. This led to me studying AROMATHERAPY at the Shirley Price International College of Aromatherapy. Here I learnt how plants can benefit the human body and influence the mind in a positive, uplifting way.
Plant-based essential oils feature within all of my massage treatments; and in ONE TO ONE YOGA SESSIONS; they are individually selected and blended specifically to you and your needs. I also use HOT STONE THERAPY to enhance the enjoyment, effectiveness and relaxing qualities of my treatments. These treatments, range from relaxing, de-stress massages, to deep tissue work on aching and sore muscles; whether you need to unwind, energise, detox or simply be in the present, aromatherapy can help.
I have been practicing yoga for some 30 years and qualified as a DRU YOGA teacher12 years ago and have been a meditation teacher for 7 years. Yoga has helped me to maintain my strength and flexibility, to ride the roller coaster of life with a more contented and tranquil mind and to relax and cope with stress.
I run regular yoga classes and offer one to one sessions for those who have specific issues or just prefer to work this way.
Hilary is a registered Dru yoga and meditation teacher, a member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists and a registered yoga therapist with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council.
